There is so much DISINFORMATION disseminated on the internet aimed solely at bashing French Bulldogs of COLOR.  Many uninformed people: breeders, buyers, owners can be influenced negatively by this false information which often claims all BLUE French Bulldogs are defective and unhealthy.

I am here to tell you that I have owned BLUE French Bulldogs in brindle, fawn, pied, and tricolor (blue/tan) since 2002 and the lies that are spread about this color in this breed by unscrupulous opponents of NON-STANDARD COLOR in Frenchies are #FAKE if they have no Veterinary (medical) data to back up the claims.

Does that mean that all BLUE, CHOCOLATE, TRICOLOR Frenchies are healthy?  Certainly not!  But the COLOR of their hair does not have anything to do with the ‘disease genetics’ of the French Bulldog.

Buyers need to concern themselves with questioning breeders about the HEALTH TESTING they do on their breeding stock, PERIOD!  Whether they are breeding STANDARD (brindle, fawn, cream) colored French Bulldogs or NON-STANDARD (blue, chocolate, lilac, tricolor), they should be doing all that they can to limit or eliminate disease that can be tested for.
